Markdorfer
In a small, protected exclave in the backland of Lake Constance vines are grown in the Markdorf vineyard called „Wangener Halde“. Excellent wines from 485 to 525m height above sea level in south-southwest orientation at the foot of the „Gehrenberg“.
Due to the special altitude with steep vineyards of up to 40% there is an extraordinary microclimate. It is characterized by optimal sun exposure and good heat storage of the soil.
Relaxing in the „Wangener Halde“: a feel-good place for connoisseurs – and for Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
Pinot Noir loves the microclimate in the steep Markdorf vineyards. The red wines thank it with a complex interplay of aromas, velvety tannins and elegant taste: a highlight!
