These wines are among the most exquisite wines from the Hagnau winegrower association. The grapes come from a choice of selected vineyards: old vines, yield reduction and grape division to around 45 hl/ha. Selective harvesting in several stages of maturity. The wines are distinguished by rich fruit, strength and density. Some of the selected wines are maturing in small wooden barrels.
Müller-Thurgau with strength and minerally appeal
Pinot Noir: elegance and soft tannins
On guard: at the „grape watch“ the Hagnau vines are defended against the birds in the harvest from the so-called „starling tower“.
The harvest by hand allows a selection of grapes in the vineyard and the grapes to be harvested at the optimal time, since not all of them are ripe at the same time. That is why we harvest in up to three runs.
